BIOGRAPHY

Matt

Matt has been a musician since he was a young teenager. He lives in London and works from his studio, which he has been building and developing for 40 years. He has had a long career in music, beginning in bands whilst at school and then becoming an industry professional in the 1980s working as a composer, musician, sound engineer and producer.

He has worked with a wide range of artists, managers and production companies, and major and independent record labels including Charisma, Island, OKra, Phonogram and Sony music. Of his collaborative work he is most proud of the recordings he has made with singers Sarah Moule, Rachel Brown, Liz Leng and Adrinne Loehry, guitarist Brian Douglas, Jeb Loy Nichols, Bluey (Incognito), and Elio Pace.

With the introduction of multimedia authoring applications such as Director and QuickTime in the 1990s, Matt became involved in interactive enhanced CD development, and has subsequently written music technology, sound recording, multimedia, digital media and digital marketing qualifications for universities, businesses, training and apprenticeship organisations.
